Galaxy S3 Mini: How to install CyanogenMod 11 (Android 4.4.4)

Samsung decided to drop support for the Galaxy S3 Mini , staying in the version of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean , and some people are happy but many do not, and it's because they can not test the features that come in the new versions of Android as Kitkat and even the next version of Android L . Sometimes our needs, we look for speed, stability, battery life and even customization, if you're one of those people and accounts with a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini , this tutorial is for you then learn to change theROM stock with a Custom ROM very famous and known it CyanogenMod and is based on the latest version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Install CyanogenMod (CM 11) on Galaxy S3 Mini

Prerequisite

To have your device with root and custom recovery (go directly to the section Accessing Root + CWM Recovery ) | Root and Recovery Galaxy S3 Mini (do the above process with this recovery | TWRP Maclaw

After being Root Android  must make a backup of your folder  EFS.

The EFS folder is a folder where important data of your mobile as well as the product code, imei, etc. so before you modify something we must make a backup of that folder for that we use the App Root Explorer

Access the App and grant super user permissions

We drove to the root of the device, the route will go well "/"

At the top right goes a button that says Mount R / W

We will see the folder that says EFS, we keep selecting a few seconds and give you a copy.

We look for the folder called "SDCARD" and paste inside.

Usually, the copy of the EFS folder in our SD is finished!

Steps to install CM11 on your Galaxy S3 Mini:

1. We downloaded the ROM and Gapps | CyanogenMod 11 Galaxy S3 Mini  | Gapps CM11
2. Copy the downloaded files to your SD card
3. Turn off your device and enter the recovery with the following combination of keys you press the middle button, the volume + and lock together, keep pressed and when they leave white lettering Samsung waited 3 seconds and stop pressing buttons.
4. We wipe to Data, Cache, Cache Davilk (factory reset)
5. Now click Install Zip from Sdcard ... and seek downloaded files
6. We install the CyanogenMod ROM 11 and then to Gapps
7. Reboot your phone and waited for 1 to 5 minutes

And ready, with this we have the Rom CyanogendMod (CM11) with Android version 4.4.4 kitkat in ourSamsung Galaxy S3 Mini
